The Information flow of the CU Student AMbassadors
As part of the Information Ecosystems capstone project, I collaborated in a team to analyze the information ecosystem of CU Boulder's Student Ambassadors. We conducted 30-minute interviews with ambassadors and leaders to examine how information is collected, shared, and utilized within their organization. We Synthesized findings using a Miro board to map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and visualize communication patterns. We delivered a final presentation with strategic recommendations aimed at improving organizational efficiency and enhancing internal information flow.

The Tortured Data Scientists Department
A final project data analysis of Spotify Taylor Swift data of her different songs/albums and their overall valence/tempo/feeling, and their individual popularity. I utilized web scraping on Kworb.net to get a daily update for Taylor’s songs. I was most motivated by Red (Taylor’s Version), having the highest overall valence (happiest-sounding), which is her most brutal breakup album (excluding The Tortured Poets Department).
How might we investigate which of Taylor Swift’s albums/songs are the most popular, and how does that vary over time?
This Taylor Swift data analysis project provided insights into how different metrics influence perceptions of popularity. While Red (Taylor’s Version) appeared to be her most popular album based on cumulative streams at the time, further analysis revealed that Lover holds a stronger position in terms of sustained popularity. Additionally, tracking daily streaming trends highlighted the rapid rise of her latest release, The Tortured Poets Department, which led in daily stream volume. Based on these patterns, I predict TTPD may surpass Red (Taylor’s Version) in long-term popularity.
SELF-GAthered Data and Habit Analysis
Collected and analyzed self-tracked data on my listening habits of artist Renée Rapp in the weeks leading up to her concert. The project explored patterns in frequency, timing, and context of music engagement to better understand personal listening behavior. Insights from this analysis informed reflections on music consumption trends and the emotional and situational factors that influence media habits.
